The True Indicator

The only true indicator of the cannabis plant being ready to harvest is the color of the resin in the glands, when this changes from the milky white to the clear or even reddish orange color the plant is ready to harvest. This is the only way to truly tell if the crop is ready, watching the hairs change color, even when as many as 50 percent have changed color might not be the indicator that growers need to pay attention to. By watching the trichome color the hairs might be as much as 90 percent of them having turned colors, when the color is right for harvesting at the peak of ripeness for the plant.
